I Beat Mike Tyson.

You know I’m a sucker for a sports film, especially one involving boxing. So when I saw this featured on Hypebeast I had to take a look at it!

Hypebeast says

On June 11, 2005, relatively unknown boxer Kevin McBride shook up the world when he beat Mike Tyson by sixth round TKO. While it was thought that such a victory would catapult his career, a long string of heartache and bad decisions completely derailed his momentum. Director Josh Weinstein lets the battered pugilist tell the viewer how hard it was to lose the only thing he ever wanted in the film I Beat Mike Tyson. Though it’s only 13 minutes long, Weinstein describes the effort as a “lyrical film” about a boxer “engaging in the Sisyphean task that is his life.” I Beat Mike Tyson is set to debut at the Canadian Film Festival which runs April 26 to May 6.
